UPDATE: 05/03/2020

VX Members,

We hope you all are remaining healthy at home, and enjoying extra time with your families, loved ones, and roommates.

First and foremost, we would like to express our gratitude to those of you who were able to support us in April by keeping your membership active. It is difficult to adequately express how much your support means to us at this time. With your generosity, we have been able to financially support our staff, make facility upgrades, and deep clean during this time. Thank you!

As we move forward, we will be placing ALL membership accounts on a free freeze until we reopen.

We believe this is the best next step as we cannot continue to ask for your support for a service you cannot use. We understand that your resources are precious, and may be limited at this time. It is our hope that you take care of yourselves and your families until we are together again in this community we call home.

As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns. We anxiously await the day we are climbing together again!

Sincerely,
The Holmes Family & VX Team

VX Members & Guests,

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to spread, we have been staying up to date with government recommendations, and have been consistently making adjustments to our operations for the safety of our customers, our staff, and well-being of our community.

It is with heavy heart I must inform you we will temporarily close the gym effective Wednesday, March 18 at 5:00pm. Although, we are saddened we will not get to see you climbing for awhile, we agree with the recommendations put forth by our government that this is the best option for flattening the curve on COVID-19.

Currently, we plan to reopen on Wednesday, April 1. However, this could change based on the guidance of our state and local officials. We will continue to send out updates via email, social media, and our website.

Climbing communities are unique from other businesses. It has amazed me to see the outpouring of support from the communities across the country as climbing gyms continue to close down. Our community has been no different. The words of encouragement and support are truly helping us navigate one of the toughest times we have ever encountered. We are lucky to have you!

Should this closure extend beyond our current projections you may feel the need to make adjustments to your memberships. As you move forward with your decisions about your memberships, we ask that you keep a few things in mind – most importantly our staff.

We are a family-owned and operated business, and are committed to continuing our mission once this crisis is over. In the meantime, providing for our staff is of utmost importance. We are committed to supporting as many of our wonderful staff as we can for as long as we can. In order to do so, we ask those of you who are financially able, to please stick with us and continue your membership. If maintaining your full membership rate is not possible, additional options will be available. Or if you would like to provide even greater support that will also be available. If you are financially unable to continue your membership we understand and will be eliminating the membership freeze fee during this crisis for those that need to go that route. We have made it easy for members to make adjustments to their membership via the following link: Membership Update Form. We will be updating our website over the next 48 hours to include a member resource guide with some Q&A. However, if you have any questions please feel free to give us a call or drop us an email.

Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to having everyone back climbing soon!

Sincerely,
The Holmes Family & VX Team
