Adult Climbing League (ACL)
The ACL is an informal, casual league geared to get you psyched on climbing and training harder and more confidently. This league is also a great way to meet new people, find new challenges, hone your climbing skills, and (most importantly) have a lot of fun pushing YOUR limits.
Whether you have been climbing for years or have just started, this league is for you!
How does the league work?
The ACL consists of eight 1-week scoring sessions. Scorecards must be turned in by Saturday each week. New scorecards will be available every Monday. This scoring system uses divisions and handicaps, and is designed to level the playing field so that regardless of your ability, you can still earn just as many points (or more) than a person who is placed in a higher division than you. Full description of scoring and rules can be picked up at the gym.
How many people are on a team?
Teams can be 2-3 people. Sign up with friends or sign up on your own and we will select a team for you.
What day do I climb?
Members can climb and score any time throughout week, but we have Monday & Friday evenings from 6:00-8:30 pm set as League night to foster a bit of good-natured competition and community.
Non-members registered for just the ACL program season can climb once per week on either Monday or Friday from 6:00-8:30 pm.
Who can join and how much is it?
No prior experience necessary. Anyone 18 years or older can join.
Members: $15
Non-members : $100 for pre-season meeting + 8 weekly climbing sessions (Monday or Friday)
No refunds or credits for missed sessions. Prices, schedule, and League layout subject to change until climbing season begins.
