The minimum age to participate is 5 years old. All participants must have a VX Waiver on file prior to climbing. Participants under 18 years of age must have the waiver signed by his/her PARENT or COURT-APPOINTED legal guardian. All day packages and rental gear are subject to sales tax.

Day Packages – New Visitors
Try out VX! If you’ve never visited us before, we have the perfect climbing package for you. Check out our group rates if you’re planning a party. All day packages prices are (+tax).

- Required for all climbers participating on top rope stations

- Once completed, a climber does not need to take the Belay Course again as long as they climb/belay at VX at at least once every six months

Day Packages – Return Visitors
The following are for auto-belay return visitors or for participants who are “current” on their belay skills or can “test out” of our belay course. “Current” means the climber has previously completed the Belay Course (see Day Packages – New Visitors) and has climbed/belayed in our facility within the past 6 months. All day packages and gear rental are (+ tax).

- 1-1/2 hour climbing session

- Only available to participants who have climbed/belayed in our facility within the past 6 months or who can fully “test-out” of our belay course.

- If you have not previously completed the full access training and climbed/belayed with us within the past 6 months or cannot fully “test-out” of our belay course, you will be required to take Full Access Package listed under Day Packages – New Visitors.

Group & Party Packages
Our group packages are excellent for birthday celebrations and family outings as well as school, business, church, scouting, Greek, social, and team events. Our group packages include everything you need for an awesome climbing experience, but do not include any party amenities.
If you need to bring in your group during non-business hours, we can usually accommodate your needs; however, additional fees may apply depending on the size of your group and time desired. We can service groups up to 100 climbers depending on the type of climbing and length of program time you request.
We also offer field trips during the school term. Call to inquire about our field trips.

To qualify for a group/party rates, groups/parties must meet the following requirements:
- Registration, deposit and approval must be completed a minimum of one week (two weeks for facility rentals) prior to the scheduled date.
- A non-refundable $50 deposit is due at time of registration.
- All group participants must arrive at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may not be eligible to participate.
- The group leader must pay for the entire party on one ticket at the beginning of the program.
